Have a fun day in the beautiful outdoors at Purgatory Resort in Durango, CO! The Tubing Hill opens in the winter, from noon to 7 pm The tickets are just $10 per tube, per hour. For safety reasons, there are no personal tubes available. This makes it easy for visitors to experience the fun of winter without having to bring bulky tubes or equipment! Riders must be at least three years old and 36” tall.
While you’re at the resort, check out the other great winter activities available! Aside from your standard skiing and snowboarding, you’ll also get to go dog sledding, take a sleigh ride, and try your hand (or foot) at snowshoeing. Make sure to grab dinner at one of the amazing onsite restaurants.
Ski Hesperus Tubing Hill
Hesperus is just minutes from downtown Durango and is open from mid-December through March. Tubing is one of the most popular activities on this mountain. It’s $10 per hour for the first guest, including a tube. Each additional guest is just $5 per person, though it does not include a tube. This is also a great place to get a ski lesson or rent equipment.
