Our 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 2,500 square foot townhome was built in 2020 and is located directly across from Purgatory Resort and is 24 miles north of downtown Durango (less then a 30 minute drive). The home is perfect for multiple families as it features two living spaces on different floors as well an open floor plan, cathedral ceilings, high end appliances and great views. There are 2 TVs in the house (1 in each living space) and the main floor living space features a gas fireplace.
-The first floor of the home features a large open concept kitchen, dining, and living room perfect for family gatherings. It includes a large flat screen smart tv, a gas fireplace, and a large couch with plenty of room for extra seating and lounging. As you pass through the living room you're met by two large double sliding doors that lead out to a large deck with a comfortable and spacious outdoor seating area. Also on the top floor is the master suite. A top the spacious king bed you'll enjoy yet another area of the home with a breathtakingly vast view of the mountain flooded with aspen trees and snow caps. The master bath includes a large, deep soaking tub, large walk in shower, massive walk in closet and private toilet room. It's also equipped with a portable pack & play crib. The top floor also includes a guest bathroom and a laundry room with a brand new top of the line full capacity Whirlpool washer and dyer set.
As you venture down to the bottom level of the home you'll find an additional family living area with another couch and smart tv. This space is ideal for watching the game or sending the kiddos away for some quiet time! The downstairs room configuration is as follows: Queen Suite, twin room with 2 twin beds, and a bunk bed room with two twin bunk beds. In addition, the downstairs couch pulls out into a bed for additional sleeping space. Beyond the lower level living area is the bottom back patio equipped with a brand new 6 seater HOT TUB! Perfect space to have a drink, relax in and just soak up the crisp mountain air and enjoy the stars and view of the mountainside year round.
This home was designed to entertain and accommodate large and small parties alike, regardless of size! This is the perfect area to be within walking distance of the lift, but with your own space to spread out and have fun with the family. If we don’t have something you need, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate!
The home is also located near the Purgatory Flats trail head- one of the finest and most scenic hikes in the area as well as a stocked pond for fishing and a playground and in winter, there is a cross country ski trail right out the front door. 4WD is NOT required in the winter.
Included in your stay are two mountain bikes you’re free to use, a brand new 4 seater hot tub, ping pong table, snow shoes, and snow sleds. For an additional 4 % of your base rate, you can gain access to the members only amenities at the resort that include a fitness area, large outdoor heated pool, hot tub, and much more! Sleeps up to 10 people in beds, plus 2 more children on a sleeper sofa.

This property is pet friendly (with prior approval)and the pet fee is $25/per day. We allow up to 2 dogs per stay. The maximum pet fee is $200/per pet and will be added to your reservation after you book.

Our company has been closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization statements regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19). Our housekeeping staff is working to ensure that they meet the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning. Our companies health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19. We have enhanced our cleaning protocols to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and safety at each property We are also minimizing person-to-person contact from check-in through departure.
A friendly reminder before you book your stay, is to remember we are trusted to manage independent and family-owned homes. We simply ask that you treat these homes and properties with the same respect that you would expect one to treat yours. Due to a recent uptick in unauthorized guest, pets and gatherings. We are implementing a strict "one strike" policy for any guest that are found having any unauthorized gatherings, pets or guest with them in the home. Failure to disclose any of the stated above will result in immediate termination of stay with no refund being issued for unused nights.
Please note that most properties are outfitted with outdoor security cameras.
Cancellation Policy:
There is a cancellation fee of $100 regardless of date cancelled.
If you cancel your reservation more than 60 days prior to your arrival date, your lodging, taxes, and departure cleaning fee, minus a service fee of $100, will be returned to you.
If you find you have to cancel your reservation less than 60 days prior to your arrival date, all lodging fees will be refunded if, and only if, the unit can be re-rented for the specific dates that you have booked. All monies, less cancellation fee, will be returned for the dates that have been re-booked.
For reservations that are at least twenty-nine (29) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to ninety (90) days prior to the arrival date.
Trip insurance is available for purchase and is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.
