Skate at the Chapman Hill Ice Rink
During the winter months, visitors and locals flock to this small, in-town ski and skate facility. The refrigerated rink at the Chapman Hill Ice Rink is perfect for ice skating. Enjoy some of the classic concessions available during your time at the rink. Not a proficient skater? There are lessons available year-round! If you’ve got an up-and-coming hockey player on your hands or if you enjoy smacking the puck around, check out the hockey league. There are lessons available as well as a drop-in league. The ice rink typically opens in December, weather permitting, and snow-making usually begins in December.
Are you visiting Durango during the summer? You can still enjoy the rink! The Chapman Hill Ice Rink transforms into the Chapman Hill Rollerblading Rink during the warmer months. Enjoy the classic roller-rink environment during your stay.
