There are some extraordinary waterfalls to discover along the Cascade Creek Trail. Located near Purgatory Resort, the Cascade Creek Trail is pretty simple to locate and its considered a fairly easy hike. You won’t have any trouble finding the main falls along this hike, though you’ll definitely want to print out a map to find the smaller, lesser-known falls along the trail.
Adrenaline Falls
Lime Creek Road is a dirt path that is commonly used by jeeps and ATVs. It also happens to be the access road for Adrenaline Falls, a seasonal waterfall that is best visited in late spring or early summer. It’s not always easy to find Adrenaline Falls, though there are a couple of great websites online to help you navigate. Be sure to map out your route. Ice Lake Basin Trail
The Ice Lake Basin Trail is one of the more difficult hiking paths in the region. It’s located in Silverton, CO, and is best used from April to September. If you don’t have quite as much time to devote to hiking this area, then start at the upper trailhead. This is where the falls are just a couple hundred yards away.
