Durango 4th of July 2021 Breakfast at Rotary Park

When you’re looking to kick your Durango 4th of July 2021 festivities on a savory note, be sure to schedule a time to swing by Rotary Park and make the most of time enjoying the American Gourmet Breakfast that’s scheduled to be hosted between 7:30 am and 11:30 am this year. This mouthwatering event is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Durango and tickets begin at $5 for children, $10 for adults, while children 4 and under eat breakfast for free! Once you have your tickets in hand, the only thing you’ll want to be sure to bring with you is a healthy appetite. This breakfast features everything from pancakes and eggs to fresh coffee, orange juice, and beyond. Do keep your eye on the Rotary Park event calendar if you’re planning to attend breakfast as plans are currently in the works for adding even more Independence Day events in this area which in the past have included a lineup of family-friendly activities and attractions.

Downtown Excitement and Dancing

While the annual 4th of July parade has been canceled in Durango for 2021, those with a passion for hitting the dance floor will want to head downtown on Independence Day between 5:00 pm and 9:30 pm to take part in the fun family-friendly street dance. This exciting and inviting event gives participants a chance to get their groove on in Transit Center while simultaneously enjoying access to the beer garden and live entertainment. No matter how long you dance, this is a downtown event you won’t want to miss out on.

Buckley Park Fun

When you’re on the hunt for 4th of July activities that everyone in the family can enjoy, the Buckley Park-based festivities are sure to please. Head this way on the 4th and you’ll find plenty of live entertainment, BBQ fare, kid’s activities, and a beer garden too. Independence Day events at Buckley Park are sponsored by the organization Building Homes for Heroes and will run from noon to 4:30 pm.

4th of July River Parade

Mild to Wild Rafting is proud to host a 4th of July River Parade in Durango this year for those looking forward to time on the water dressed up in their best Independence Day attire! This fun and competitive event has five distinct launch times and there are always prizes for the best dressed in the raft. The watery parade route runs through Durango following the lower Animas River. Seats are limited so you’ll want to be sure to book your spot in advance but not to worry, all kids get a fun souvenir to commemorate their float when it comes to an end!
